It's a timely and important message, delivered in an entertaining and accessible package.
At the center of the story, Shelby is a relatable heroine who is trying to move on from her past. I loved watching her grow and change throughout the novel. She starts as a woman who is afraid to take chances, but by the end, she’s learned to stand up for herself and fight for what she wants.
