As I started this book, I got a feel of a cross between how the main characters met in Fifty Shades Of Grey and The American President. That wonderful "spark" that flares between characters upon a first meeting — and although the "power balance" might appear off — the strong female lead confidently steps into her own… Sometimes even surprising herself in the process.
Loved the story... Loved the characters... Loved it, loved it, loved it!
If you read Book 1 of this series, When Sparks Fly, expect sister number two of the Spark Sisters Trio to take the focus in Book 2. But, as the focus shifts amongst the sisters, we still learn more about each sister as the storyline continues to support a strong sister dynamic. Both professionally (as they run a business together) and as they try to balance their own personal interests as well.
And... I am very happy to report... it also supports a strong sisterhood dynamic amongst women overall. Without giving away any spoilers, I will just say that I am always a big fan of stories that encourage women to treat each other with the highest respect and with integrity.
For the record, ladies... It is absolutely stunning whenever we draw the line at any action that diminishes each other as sisters. Whether sisters by blood or simply by gender... Draw the line, ladies.
Perfect for readers looking for a book series that features strong female character leads who are discovering their strength together as sisters... and individually on their own... ✨😎✨
