The last time I visited Yellowstone was with my Mom & Dad decades ago. However, my tax accountant from NYC had told me it was a "must-see" spot and to take the time to find it (Thank you always, Murray!)...
I will never forget my Dad & I standing at the edge and marveling at the colors of the canyon... It was magical and spiritual... I turned to Dad and said, "How could anyone see this and deny the presence of God? Only God could make this..."

A good rule of thumb is to plan out your stops so you're never driving more than 6 hours before taking a break.
